Short and Sweet This Week

“Do your best and let God do the rest.”

I came across this line earlier this week and it was quite relevant to what I was trying to write about this week. I was inspired by a few good topics and therein lies the issue. I am in the middle of a remodeling project this week that has some deadlines attached to it. So while it is fun, it has been busy! I’ve been writing down snippets of different things this week and I want to do them all justice. I want to do my best.

Each blog post I do starts with dedicating it to prayer, then there is some research finding scripture that I have saved, and also looking through things I have written before that might correlate with my topic. It is definitely a time consuming process, and I love doing it.

It is amazing how God tugs at my heart with something different each week and how I grow in writing about it. I don’t want to do a quick blog post just to post something each week, it means so much more to me than that. All those snippets that I feel God has put on my heart are worthy of more than a quick read. So, I hope you will understand that while I am focused on a project this week, I will be back next week. I hope you will be too!

Blessings on your weekend!

I created the She Surrenders Community because it’s what I longed for during my own journey—a space for Christian women to find connection and support from others who understand. My prayer is that this community blesses you as deeply as it has blessed me.
