IT IS HERE!!!!!!!! The official launch of my book Sober Cycle-Pedaling Through Recovery One Day at a Time.
I'm sitting at my desk looking at this book of mine in a surreal pinch-me kind of mode. If you knew what the last few days in Hoppenworld have been like, you would most likely do what Mr. Hoppen has been doing.
Scatter.
Why? I will tell you it has been Murphy's Law with this book from the day I signed the contract in Fall 2019 to this very minute. Today is a happy day, and in the end, the book really happened! So, I will not bore you with my whining. I am just glad it is officially out there!
The texts, emails, calls, and messages I have received these past few days have brought me to happy tears time after time. The encouragement I feel from my family and friends, and those of you I have never even met is unbelievable!
There are a few messages though that brought me to my knees in absolute gratitude.
"I am giving this to a friend that needs to read it."
"I understand so much more now how my spouse must have been feeling"
"You will change lives."
"This" is all I have ever wanted to accomplish in writing a book. To make a difference in someone else's life that is going through addiction. To end the searching for a path that leads them to the beauty of what God can do with the broken. To assure someone that victory is possible. That if I can do this, so can you.
I am grateful you are here and look forward to what God is doing with the She Surrenders community. Going forward with confidence that He can do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine.
